Course Outline
This course is designed for those shooters who are comfortable around their handgun and have a baseline knowledge on how to safely use it. Students will learn how to move and shoot in a real world environment with a focus on becoming better with controlling their firearm for faster follow-up shots.

- How to dryfire
- Shooting stance
- Draw from interior or exterior holster, considerations for both
- Handgun grip
- Handgun presentation
- Sight alignment, both red dot and iron sights
- Finding the dot (if running a red dot)
- Recoil control
- Handgun malfunctions and how to clear them
- Handgun manipulations
- Strong hand vs support hand
- Handgun reloading
- Handgun shooting drills
Equipment Required
- Reliable handgun
- 3 functional magazines
- Minimum 1 magazine pouch
- Outer waistband (OWB) or inner waistband (IWB) style holster
- Belt must be able to support either system
- Eye and ear protection
- 700 rounds of ammunition
- Appropriate range clothing (we will train in the rain or sun)
- Handgun cleaning equipment
